Representatives of the City of Sveta Nedelja participated in the Conference presenting the achievements so far in the implementation of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 in the Republic of Croatia.
The Conference was organised by the National Focal Point and took place in Zadar.

The project ” Development of technical documentation for the use of geothermal energy” is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 with national co-funding from the Republic of Croatia under the “Energy and Climate Change” Programme.
Sustainable development and protection of the environment are the goals of the project – once the projects following the drilling of the well and the acquisition of the exploitation field are completed, CO2 emissions will be reduced and energy will be used that is independent of weather conditions and the price of energy sources.
